She never complained. Everyday she dutifully went home and prepared dinner. At around eight o'clock, her husband would arrive and they would eat together. No words were exchanged. Just quick glances once in a while, and then he would proceed to the living room to read the paper and she, to the kitchen to clear things up. That was the life Marion had chosen. A dull life it was, but what could she expect? She was only nineteen and her meagre income as a clerk did not permit a luxurious life.
Edward had never loved her. She knew that very well. She was forced to marry this man whom she had never known and only after the nuptials did she find o
"You don't understand me!" Hastily, I slammed the door in his face. My entire body trembled, not with fear but with anger, with hatred. "Go on, be angry! He's not supposed to judge you…you are what you are, Dana. You have the power to destroy him. You know what to do." The voice in my head grew louder. A wave suddenly swept through me and I remember nothing more.
It seemed as if I was floating, something was going on but I couldn't recall what it was. Flashes of bright colours came to my mind and disappeared, like ghosts moving through solid walls. Why do I always have to black out? What's happening to me? Large chunks of my life, my memori
Her gaze shifted nervously from left to right. Amidst the hustle and bustle of students rushing to their classes, she simply stood out from the rest. She slipped in and out of the crowd quickly, hands clutching her books tightly to her chest until her knuckles appeared white. No one seemed to notice her existence, let alone her presence. I wondered what her life was like as I stared, quite rudely, into her pale sullen face.
She reminded me of someone I had known in the past. Andrea was one of the most unique people I had ever met,yet she was so difficult to get along with. The first time I saw her, she was wandering aimlessly among the book s

She could feel their eyes watching her. Staring, boring into her soul, everyone seemed to judge her. Why? What was it that she was blamed for? Why was she being held responsible for a crime she never committed?
It was true. Rumours can kill, Heather thought. She began to quicken her pace, slipping through the throng of people around her. She did not even dare to look up. Her head bowed low, so low until she almost knocked over a sweet old lady and her pile of groceries. She hastily apologised and disappeared into the dark corridor of her apartment building.

My eyes were stinging. I could barely breathe. And I couldn't believe my ears.
He sensed my insecurities because I had been silent. He said it again, and my heart leapt.
"I love you. I do, baby."
And you know I love you too.
I watched silently as he typed away at the keyboard. His right hand positioned on the mouse, he clicked away adjusting bits and pieces of his work of art. A shade here and a drag there. He would then lean back to see the effect and continued on perfecting the images, squinting into the screen observing every minuscule detail.
He sang along softly to Radiohead's Go To Sleep as he worked. Once in a while I would catch him with the make-believe guitar riffs, throwing his head back like a rock star would at his own concert.
I smiled to myself, mildly amused.
I'm so in love with him.
